Come join the party as Michele of Maven’s Treats guides you through the process of creating delightfully decorated sugar cookies. Whether you’re looking for a new hobby or a fun experience with friends, our lighthearted beginner events require no previous experience, and even better, no mess in your kitchen. Your hands-on class will include 2 hours of step-by-step instruction, plus all the materials needed to decorate 6 of the most delicious sugar cookies you’ve ever tasted! You’ll learn the importance of different icing consistencies, how to use tipless piping bags, the basics of outlining and flooding, wet-on-wet techniques and more. Let us inspire you to create edible art while laughing and learning a new skill that will impress your friends and family!

You can even lick your fingers, we won’t tell.

Before your Event: We will help you choose the best cookie designs to coordinate with your event. You will be able to choose up to three (3) shapes to decorate from over 1,200 different cookie cutters, as well as up to three (3) different colors of royal icing.

Additional colors are available at $15 each for up to 10 people. Gluten-free cookies are available for $30 for up to 10 guests.

Day of Your Event: We will arrive approximately 30 minutes before your scheduled time to set up.  Please provide a well-lit room, with a large enough table(s) and chairs for everyone in your party to sit comfortably with room to work. Each party will start with going over the basics of cookie decorating including outlining and flooding techniques. Guests will get to practice their icing skills before working on the cookies. We will provide step-by-step instruction on how to decorate your themed cookies. Every guest will receive six (6) 3-4” sugar cookies to decorate, plus recipes, tips and tricks, and a box to take home their delicious cookies in.

Pricing: $350 for up to10 party guests. Additional guests may be added for $35 each.

Cost of your party includes mileage within 15 miles of zip code 92630.

Please add $2.00 per mile outside of the15 mile radius of zip code 92630.

Party must be located in Orange County

Deposit: To secure your date, a 50% deposit is required. If your party is cancelled prior to 2 weeks of your event date, your deposit may be applied to a rescheduled date. Deposits may not be refunded if your party is cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to your party date.
